A small personal testimony to Mother Earth.

Updated: Nov 5, 2021

I feel we are all so beautifully unique, and this is for very good reason. All our energy and internal thoughts are connected, like the roots of a tree to the earth. The awareness we are bringing to our planet is not intended to highlight one huge disaster after the next, or to discover the next horrific way in that she is suffering due to our actions, its quite the opposite. I believe our plant is a living energy to which we all belong. The world is part of us, our energy, our breath, emotions it’s our life line and we are merely only feeling a small part of her suffering as a whole. Until we dig deep into our own roots and see ourselves as an individual connected to this earth, I really mean have true deep feelings of pure self love for your mind, body, spirit, only then after your own healing and vision of true love for you, can you begin to understand how you are a part of this creation of earth, we are sacred just like the nature around us. You are your own sacred nature and if you can love your self as you do the earth that surrounds us, then we can begin to stop seeing our plant and the creatures on it as needing to be saved. These thoughts will only provide the opposite of what your intentions are. The perspective that our planet needs saving will only bring before us a planet that needs to be saved.

We must move forward to that place of pure love, of appreciation. Appreciate and choose to sing your gratitude for the beauty that surrounds us, the joy that is the magic of this earth, we need to embrace every breathing thing and just bask in the awe at the wonders of how intense and intelligent Mother Nature is. The more we look for the peace and harmony within ourselves, the more we will be able to create a vibration of energy to love the earth and start to add to her recovery through this way of believing. As we begin to change our outlook by being present, I believe this is how we are going to restore the harmony with nature once again by feeling the love and passion that there is more good in this world rather than bad, and its down to what energy we to choose to emit, to be able to see the perspective you wish to see.

For Calling the Spirit Back from Wandering the Earth in Its Human Feet

Put down that bag of potato chips, that white bread, that bottle of pop.

Turn off that cellphone, computer, and remote control.

Open the door, then close it behind you.

Take a breath offered by friendly winds. They travel the earth gathering essences of plants to clean.

Give it back with gratitude.

If you sing it will give your spirit lift to fly to the stars’ ears and back.

Acknowledge this earth who has cared for you since you were a dream planting itself precisely within your parents’ desire.

Let your moccasin feet take you to the encampment of the guardians who have known you before time, who will be there after time. They sit before the fire that has been there without time.

Let the earth stabilise your postcolonial insecure jitters.

Be respectful of the small insects, birds and animal people who accompany you.

Ask their forgiveness for the harm we humans have brought down upon them.

Don’t worry.

The heart knows the way though there may be high-rises, interstates, checkpoints, armed soldiers, massacres, wars, and those who will despise you because they despise themselves.

The journey might take you a few hours, a day, a year, a few years, a hundred, a thousand or even more.

Watch your mind. Without training it might run away and leave your heart for the immense human feast set by the thieves of time.

Do not hold regrets.

When you find your way to the circle, to the fire kept burning by the keepers of your soul, you will be welcomed.

You must clean yourself with cedar, sage, or other healing plant.

Cut the ties you have to failure and shame.

Let go the pain you are holding in your mind, your shoulders, your heart, all the way to your feet. Let go the pain of your ancestors to make way for those who are heading in our direction.

Ask for forgiveness.

Call upon the help of those who love you. These helpers take many forms: animal, element, bird, angel, saint, stone, or ancestor.

Call your spirit back. It may be caught in corners and creases of shame, judgment, and human abuse.

You must call in a way that your spirit will want to return.

Speak to it as you would to a beloved child.

Welcome your spirit back from its wandering. It may return in pieces, in tatters. Gather them together. They will be happy to be found after being lost for so long.

Your spirit will need to sleep awhile after it is bathed and given clean clothes.

Now you can have a party. Invite everyone you know who loves and supports you. Keep room for those who have no place else to go.

Make a giveaway, and remember, keep the speeches short.

Then, you must do this: help the next person find their way through the dark.

Remember the plants, trees, animal life who all have their families, their histories too. Talk to them, listen to them. They are alive poems.
